Most companies rely on a member of staff to change tapes and check
to ensure the backup has been successful. This system is fully
automated and does not rely on any form of magnetic media therefore
nothing needs to be changed daily. In addition with us monitoring your
backup status every morning, we will be alerted if there is a potential
problem and address it immediately.

NO LIMIT TO THE AMOUNT OF DATA YOU CAN STORE

Unlike tapes that have an individual limit that once exceeded you need to change to a second or even third tape you have unlimited storage with our service.

NO NEED TO PURCHASE NEW MEDIA ON A REGULAR BASIS

As you are probably aware,it is recommended that you purchase replacement media every six months to ensure the quality of data. With this service you will not have to worry about replacing them.

RECOVERY SERVICE SHOULD A FILE BE DELETED ACCIDENTALLY OR BECOME CORRUPT

If you lose data or it becomes corrupt you can recover the damaged/lost file at any time or if you need assistance our technical department will be on hand (Mon-Friday 09.00am - 5.30pm)

DATA IS STORED OFF SITE

You no longer need to remove tapes from the premises overnight to comply with most business insurance policy's. The information is stored off site and is therefore safe if you should have a break-in, fire, flood or other such disaster.

ALLOWS YOU TO FREE UP SERVER DISK SPACE

Old files can be deleted from your server to free up disk but should you need them at a later date we will have them stored on our servers for the duration of the contract. This will often save on upgrading your hard disk and this helps you to keep your server as clutter free as possible.

BACKUP OVER WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS

Due to the service being fully automated it is a 365 day per year service therefore holiday's and sickness are no longer a problem

FULLY AUTOMATED SERVICE

Once the system is installed and set up with the passwords you require you have no further daily part to play if you choose not too. Our technicians will monitor your account daily and report anything unusual to you.

YOU CAN RECOVER DATA FOR AS LONG AS THE CONTRACT IS RUNNING

You can delete files to clear space on your server safe in the knowledge that we have a copy of the file saved on our server. This saves you the time and cost of having to install a bigger hard disk in the server when a simple spring clean operation would be of benefit.

CUSTOMISABLE BACKUP SETS AND FILE SELECTION

The software can create an unlimited number of backup sets. Since backup sets can be scheduled to run independently, we can configure multiple backup sets to run at different times. For example, a backup set containing all data files can be configured to run at the end of each week and another backup set containing a single database file can be configured to run multiple times per day.

SECURE BACKUP

Encryption is used to provide the Backup client with a secure means of communicating with the Backup Server. In addition, it is used to encrypt files for secure storage on the backup server. All files are also completely encrypted when they are restored. Once the restored files are received by the Backup Client, the files are decrypted automatically. It uses 448 bit encryption the highest level of encryption available today.
